... and Biography
Graduating with a B.F.A.from York University (Toronto) in 1987, Raquel Rivera's visual art practice includes drawing, printmaking, book arts, collaborative art projects and writing.

In 1995 she self-published the first four artist books in an ongoing series of Small Books. In 1996 she co-founded Site Dish with Kim Chua. Site Dish is an open collective and Web site experimenting with art, interface design, online community and content delivery methods for internet. In 1998 Raquel and Jeannette Lambert first uploaded the first reviews in their e-zine In My Hysterical Opinion.

Raquel is currently enjoying life in Montreal, Canada, working as artist and illustrator while plotting how to publish many groovy books - both in print and online.
